In this video, you will learn a sign that you may not know yet, the sign for SHELF.

You can use this sign in the classroom or at home when you ask your child to tidy up and put the books or toys back on the SHELF or get a book or a toy from the SHELF.

If you use the sign with the verbal instruction, you are helping your child understand what you are saying. If you have never used this sign before, make sure you are signing SHELF beside the shelf so the child can learn the meaning of the sign.
